No longer have to apply to PRC or Policy cell for amendment in issued DFIA.

Now, exporters can make amendments in unutilized DFIA scrip directly on portal. The amendment is limited to general fields such as HSN code, unit of measurement and import value.

This is a great relief for DFIA holders, as now they no longer have to apply to PRC or Policy cell for amendment in issued DFIA.

However, please note, still the application approval process will be done by DGFT HQ and not RA office. Therefore, it is always advisable to take special care while applying for DFIA scrip.
